Who We Are
The Trojan Venture Group is a membership-based group of investors, entrepreneurs and industry experts who graduated from the University of Southern California (USC). Our name comes from the symbol of USC - the ancient Trojan warrior.
What We Do
We combine our resources to invest in pre-A stage startups that can leverage our network in the Pacific Rim and the USA. We bring together the brightest USC minds to help entrepreneurs with the network and funding to fuel success.
Stage: Seed stage to Series A
Sector: Mobile, O2O, Hardware, E-Commerce, etc.
Amount: Seeking US$100-500K, open to co-investments and RMB investments
Region: US and Asia Pacific, ideally with plans to launch outside the home region
If you are looking for early stage capital and mentorship from experienced investors and successful entrepreneurs, TVG is the right place for you. We share a USC Family experience, which drives us to work together and help you succeed.
Now you can directly apply on Proseeder (Company Sign Up).
Biz Plan Submission
Submit startup business plans and/or presentation materials before the monthly meeting date. Members vote who gets an opportunity to pitch in front of the group. Open to all, but priority is given to fellow USC entrepreneurs.
Every month, four pre-screened startups will be invited to have a 10-minute presentation, and 10-minute questions and feedback. Pitches can be in English or Chinese.
Due Diligence and $$$
After due diligence and further discussion on terms, selected startups will receive an angel investment and mentorship from TVG members, as well as access to a wider USC network around the world.
TVG is an exclusive program that provides high-value investment and networking opportunities.
Membership is open to individuals affiliated with the University of Southern California. Once admitted, members are encouraged to make a minimum investment of USD $15,000 per year. We draw from a large dedicated pool of alumni advisors to help our portfolio companies get to the next level. Interested in learning more? Please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
